Terms

Use it. Do not abuse it.

Short, plain rules for using this site. The contract for any actual project work is a separate document, not this page.

Use of the site

You can read, link, and quote anything on this site. Attribution is appreciated.

You can copy and adapt code snippets in blog posts and on /develop unless a snippet says otherwise. Default license intent is MIT.

You cannot scrape this site to train a model in a way that strips attribution. Polite indexers (Google, Bing, Perplexity, OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, etc.) are allowed; the robots.txt is the source of truth.

Engagement contracts

Nothing on this site forms a contract. If we decide to work together, the agreement that governs that work is a separate written engagement letter, master services agreement, or statement of work.

Pricing pages, application forms, and copy on this site are informational. Final scope and price live in the engagement contract.

Open-source projects

Legion and any other open-source projects published under @thenotoriousllama or thenotoriousllama on GitHub are governed by their own LICENSE files (typically MIT). Those licenses control. This page does not.

Disclaimers

The site is provided as-is. I do my best to keep it accurate, but I do not warrant that everything you read here is correct, current, or fit for any particular purpose.

External links are provided for convenience. I do not endorse and am not responsible for what lives on the other side of them.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site. Direct claims are capped at the greater of $100 or any amount you paid me in the prior twelve months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in the founder of record.
