Mario Aldayuz, the Notorious LlamaMario Aldayuz. The operator.
The founder

Bolivia. Marines. Bourbon. Code.

I am Mario Aldayuz. I was born in Bolivia and earned the title of US Marine, where calibration was measured in microns and excuses did not exist. I have been writing software since I was eight. I have been a Creative Director, a co-owner in wireless, ISP, data center, defense contracting, ecommerce, marketing, and makerspace work. I have shipped, broken, and rebuilt across most of it.

Today I run an army of agents through Legion, the extension I built for Cursor and VS Code. The output is industrial. The judgment is still mine. This site is where you find me when you want both.

Act 1. Origin

Bolivia, the United States, the Marines

I was born in Bolivia. I came to the United States. I earned the title of US Marine and trained as a Metrologist. Calibration is measured in microns. The work is unforgiving and the equipment does not lie. That precision became the operating system for everything that came after. It is why I ship clean. It is why I do not negotiate with broken builds.

I was eight when I started writing software. The Marines just gave me a doctrine to put it in. The doctrine is: ship the work, measure the work, ship again.

Act 2. Builder

The portfolio is the receipts

I have been a co-owner, founder, or operator across a dozen industries. None of these were dabbles. Every one of them shipped real product, served real customers, and carried real consequences. The names below are not a brag. They are the reason the suit fits.

Act 3. Today

Operator plus suit plus army

Today the work runs through Legion. The suit lives inside Cursor and VS Code. Twenty-five thousand operators picked it up in its first week. Inside my own workshop, the suit commands a fleet of agents that ships site builds in 45 minutes and 600,000-line apps in 72 hours. I am the operator. The suit is the multiplier. The fleet is the output.

When you hire me, you are not buying a developer. You are not buying a designer. You are buying an operator with a doctrine, a suit, and an army. The brief is yours. The shipping is on me.

I drink good bourbon. I smoke a good cigar. I ship with Harley by my side. And I do not waste anyone's time, including my own.

One operator. One Iron Man suit. Industrial output.

Speaking

Stages, podcasts, panels

I speak about AI-native engineering, Marine doctrine applied to product teams, and what it actually takes to ship at platform speed. If your event needs an operator on stage, the application form below routes there.

Coaching

Cohorts for AI-first founders

Small cohorts. Live work. Real receipts. We turn founders who can almost ship into founders who do ship, without losing the brand or the craft.
